Welcome, Brother or Sister
Go through, go through the gates; prepare ye the way of the people; cast up, cast up the highway; gather out the stones; lift up a standard for the people. Isaiah 62:10
So thou, O son of man, I have set thee a watchman unto the house of Israel; therefore thou shalt hear the word at my mouth, and warn them from me. Ezekiel 33:7
A Standard Ministry is dedicated to lifting up a standard for the people, as stated in Isaiah 62:10.
We aim to achieve this by sharing the Gospel and teaching How to Live. Following as our example Jesus Christ; like the Apostles did, by opening to others our understanding of the Holy Scriptures. As a publishing ministry, we seek to utilize both digital media and, Lord willing, printed media in the near future to share the standard set by Jesus Christ our Lord.
The two arms of our message:
The Gospel:
For I determined not to know any thing among you, save Jesus Christ, and him crucified. 1 Corinthians 2:2
And I saw another angel fly in the midst of heaven, having the everlasting gospel to preach unto them that dwell on the earth, and to every nation, and kindred, and tongue, and people, Revelation 14:6
This is the message of the Gospel in a mustard seed, but we should always be studying to show ourselves approved unto God.
How to Live:
19 What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own?
20 For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God's. 1 Corinthians 6:19-20
24 Know ye not that they which run in a race run all, but one receiveth the prize? So run, that ye may obtain.
25 And every man that striveth for the mastery is temperate in all things. Now they do it to obtain a corruptible crown; but we an incorruptible.
26 I therefore so run, not as uncertainly; so fight I, not as one that beateth the air:
27 But I keep under my body, and bring it into subjection: lest that by any means, when I have preached to others, I myself should be a castaway. 1 Corinthians 9:24-27
We owe it to both God and ourselves to know how to live a practical, Godly Christian life. This goes beyond mere doctrinal statements or even spiritual understanding, but affects everything we do—from what we eat, and wear, to how we work.
Currently, we are creating short scripture articles on A Standard Blog, which we hope to transform into tracts for wider distribution.
A Standard Podcast is also coming soon, where we plan to give voice to our digital content. Through both platforms, we strive to provide essential insights that lead to victory in both spiritual and physical challenges.
Additionally, we have A Standard Armory, where you will soon find high-quality, free downloads of tracts, books, and Bibles to aid in the fight against sin and sickness. We only offer material that aligns with our values and is believed to be trustworthy.
Finally, our long-term goal, which we humbly ask you to pray about, is to establish our own printing house. This would allow us to publish, print, bind, and distribute Bibles and quality Christian literature entirely in-house. It is a significant undertaking, as it will require suitable facilities, high-quality equipment, and skilled laborers who share our vision. We know that only the Lord can open these doors in His timing. We ask nothing of anyone except your prayers and willing hearts, led by the Holy Spirit.
Stewards of A Standard Ministry
11 And the Lord said unto him, Who hath made man’s mouth? or who maketh the dumb, or deaf, or the seeing, or the blind? have not I the Lord?
12 Now therefore go, and I will be with thy mouth, and teach thee what thou shalt say.
Exodus 4:11-12
Also I heard the voice of the Lord, saying, Whom shall I send, and who will go for us? Then said I, Here am I; send me. Isaiah 6:8
We are merely stewards of a ministry for God. Though we are mortal and prone to error, God has called us to serve Him.
As you look through these bios, please remember that anything we do right is not of ourselves but of God. Give HIM alone the glory! Be comforted that we have shared in some of the experiences of this life. We will prophesy in part, and we may stumble at times. We are growing in grace just as you are.
Look not to us, nor to yourself, but to Christ Jesus our Lord and Savior. For in Him alone is the victory!
